GNS Science Limited is a Crown Research Institute owned by the New Zealand Government and providing both research and consultancy services in a diverse range of geoscience disciplines.  Core capabilities are in geology, geophysics, geochemistry, isotopic sciences, environmental biology, time-varying geospatial data management and visualisation, mathematical modeling, earthquake and geological engineering, social and economic sciences, information technology, and commercialisation of intellectual property.
